‘La Chef’ Esther Uys enjoys cooking; wether it’s at home or in YUM Eat Cafe. Every now and than she will share a family recipe. This time it’s Health Bread.
250 gr whole wheat flour
140 gr flatted whole wheat grains
120 gr fruity muesli
15 ml sunflower seed
5 gr salt
5 ml bi-carbonate
500 ml plain yoghurt
15 ml honey
sesame seeds for topping
First: Pre-heat oven 180 C and butter bread pan of 21x11x6cm
Mix the dry ingredients and than add the yoghurt and the honey. Mix thoroughly.
Fill the bread pan with the dough and equalise the surface before gently pressing the sesame seeds into it.
1 hour in the oven.
It’s as simple as that!
